Mrs. Barbara Rice, 90, who fell recently and fractured her hip, died Tuesday morning at her home on Caroline Stree. She was born in Poland but had resided here for 65 years. She was a member of St. Mary's Assumption Church, its Rosary and Sacred Heart Societies. She is survived by five sons, Stanley, Anthony, James, John and Joseph, all of Albion; four daughters, Mrs. Mary Sledzinski, Mrs. Valeria Noreck, Mrs. Stanley Starch, Miss Anna Rice of Albion; 27 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren. The body is resting at the Merrill Funeral Home.

She was a member of St. Mary's Assumption Church and its Rosary and Sacred Heart Societies. She is survived by five sons, Stanley, Anthony, James, John and Joseph; four daughters, Mrs. Mary Sledzinski, Mrs. Valeria Noreck, Mrs. Stanley Starch, and Miss Anna Rice, all of Albion, as well as 27 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren. Friends may call at the Merrill Funeral Home at 134 Main Street. Services will be held at 9am Saturday in St. Mary's Church, with burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery on Brown Street.
