Francis V. Zwifka, 62, of 206 Meade Ave., died suddenly yesterday morning at his home. He was born Dec. 11, 1917 in Buffalo.

Mr. Zwifka was a native of Albion but had resided in Medina for many years. For the past 12 years he had been employed by T. J. Lipton Co. of Albion.

He served in World War II with Company D, 60th Infantry under General George Patton. He was a technical sergeant and won a bronze star. He was a member of St. Mary's Church and of the Sacred Heart Club.

Surviving are his wife, Dorothy (Shannon) Zwiefka; one daughter, Kathleen Rucinski of Abington, Pa.; three grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call this evening (7-9) at Barnes Tuttle Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Pearl St. Members of Sacred Heart Society will meet there at 7:30pm for a reciting of the Rosary.

A mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30am tomorrow morning at St. Mary's Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
