Stephen B. Mager, age 95, died April 1, 2013 at The Villages of Orleans with his daughters by his side. He was born December 7, 1917 in Albion a son of the late William and Mary (Romanowski) Mager and had lived in this area all his life. He was a member of Holy Family Parish, Knights of Columbus, and St. Mary's Athletic Club. Stephen served in the U.S. Army in the European Theater during WWII. He worked as a die operator at Harrison Radiator for over 30 years, retiring from there in 1980.

He was predeceased by his wife Philipine (Zarbo) Mager in 2012. He is survived by his daughters, Mary Bannister of Albion, Nancy (David) Bell of Lyndonville; grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews and nieces.

Stephen's service of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday (4/3/13) at 10:00am at Holy Family Parish-St. Joseph's Church. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery with full military honors. Memorials may be made to the group of citizens who are committed to maintaining county ownership of The Villages of Orleans Nursing Home - The Concerned Citizens of Orleans County, C/O Christine Loss, P.O.
