Marcia J. Welch Grimm

Mrs. Marcia J. Grimm of Medina, passed away on Monday, December 08, 2014 at the Medina Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Grimm was born in Medina, August 4, 1929, a daughter of the late Frank J. and Rose (Miklayewski) Welch. A graduate of Medina High School, class of 1947, she married Kenneth A. Grimm on May 27, 1950. Mrs. Grimm was a long time member of Holy Trinity Parish and was employed by Thomas J. Lipton Company for fourteen years.

Bielak, Richard E. (1934-2014)

Richard E. Bielak

Mr. Richard E. Bielak, of Medina, passed away on September 2, 2014 at the Medina Memorial Hospital. He was born in Medina, January 17, 1932, the son of the late Celia Cichocki and Edward J. Bielak. A graduate of Medina High School class of 1949, he served in the US Air Force as a radio operator from 1951-1955. He flew 19 missions on a B-29 over Korea and upon his return to Hunter AFB in Georgia, he continued as a radio operator on KC-97 Air Refuelers. He was awarded an Air Medal and a Korean Medal.

Andrew T. Fraczak, 56, of Medina entered into rest early Monday morning, June 9, 2014 at Medina Memorial Hospital.

He was born on March 26, 1958 in Medina, the son of Lucretia Dujenski Fraczak and the late Leonard S. Fraczak. A graduate of Medina High School, class of 1977, Andy had worked at Bells IGA in Medina, Rochester Products, Eastman Kodak Co., Wegman's and was very proud of the seasonal work at Pete's Tree Farm in Holley. He also enjoyed completing various painting projects for people. Andy was a very personable and friendly person and will be remembered for his ability to make people laugh and smile.

Beach, Carol S. (1938-2014)

Carol Spinks Beach

b: December 9, 1938 d: November 28, 2014

Carol Beach, age 75, died suddenly November 28, 2014 with her daughter by her side. She was born December 9, 1938 in Albion, a daughter of the late Albert and Ethel Watts Spinks. Carol was a graduate of Albion High School, class of 1958 and a former employee of the NYS Department of Labor. She was a member of the Albion First Baptist Church, Strickland Post V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary, Sheret Post American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and a life member of the St. Mary's Athletic Club and St. Mary's Archer's Club. Carol was an avid Elvis fan, enjoyed playing cards, fishing, baking and would always go out of her way to help someone in need.

Bilicki, Leonard J. (1928-2013)

Leonard J. Bilicki

Leonard J. Bilicki, age 85, died October 14, 2013, at United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia. He was born August 1, 1928 in Albion, a son of the late George and Rose Piatek Bilicki and had lived in this area all of his life. Leonard had served in the U.S. Army during Korea. He had worked as a linotype operator at the Albion Advertiser and had retired from there after working there for many years. He was a member of St. Mary's Assumption Church in Albion, Orleans County Historical Society, the EAA Albion Chapter 675 and Chapter 44 of Rochester, he was also a member of the Family Campers and RV's and he delivered meals for Meals on Wheels.
