MORNING DROP-OFF:

Purple Sage's morning drop-off is from 7:00-7:30. Parents/Guardians come in the first entrance through the parking lot from Purple Sage Road. Cars will form one line and drop off students by the cafeteria. After 7:35, students should be escorted by a parent/guardian into the front office of the school.  

Remember, there will NOT be adult supervision for students before 7:00 a.m. Student safety is our number ONE priority! Please help us by not leaving students unattended before 7:00 a.m.

AFTERNOON PICK-UP

Purple Sage’s afternoon pick up is from 3:15-3:30. Parents/Guardians come in the first entrance through the parking lot from Purple Sage Road. Cars will form one line and pick up students by the cafeteria. After 3:30, students should be picked up by a parent/guardian in the front office of the school.

Purple Sage is tucked away behind the Pine Trails Community. Our goal is to ensure that students arrive home safely! Please make certain you pick up your family’s dismissal tags prior to the first day of school.  If you do not have your dismissal tag, you will have to park, come to the front office and obtain a tag with a valid ID.  

After school dismissal is for the safety of our students and to better serve our parents.  We will begin this implementation on the first day of school, August 09, 2023.  

Parents will enter the large staff parking lot to pick up their child.  Car tag placards must be visible for a parent to pick up their child.  All cars must be in the right hand lane of Purple Sage Drive.  It will be imperative that parents do not block the left lane to allow the flow of traffic for our daycare vans which will enter the circle driveway located in the front of the school.  Parents will enter in one single file line through the first entrance of the large staff parking lot.  We are asking that parents do not park and wait for their child to walk to the car.  It causes congestion and back up and we cannot have a smooth, safe dismissal process.  Parents will remain in the car rider line and move forward.  Your student will be escorted to a dismissal station where an adult will open the car door and put the student into the car.  Again, please make sure that your car tag placard is visible at all times.  Cars will exit the large staff parking lot.  We will begin dismissal promptly at 3:15 pm.

We understand that there will be a slight back up of cars as all parents are picking up their children.  Please have patience the first 2 weeks as we are all learning our dismissal process and the students are learning their car tag numbers again.   Our student’s safety is our top priority.  We are working to keep them safe and speed up the dismissal process for you all.  By the end of the first two weeks of school, we should be finished dismissing by 3:30 pm.  After 3:30 pm, all remaining students will be moved to the front office.  You will be required to walk inside with your dismissal tag or proper ID to sign out your child.  You may NOT come to the office to pick up your student before 3:30.

If you are planning to have your child walk in the afternoons, you must send a note to your child’s teacher to be on file in the front office.  Walkers will not be walked out until after 3:05 pm.  If your child is going to walk, they will be escorted to the stop sign located at the intersection of Purple Sage Drive and Edenglen Dr.  For Kindergarten and Pre-Kindergarten students, an adult MUST be present at the stop sign for the teacher to release the child.  Otherwise, the teacher will walk the student back to campus.   Parents, please do NOT park on Purple Sage and block the traffic flow as you wait for your child to walk to your car.  

We encourage you to communicate any changes in your child’s dismissal information with your child’s teacher and/or the front office before 2:30 pm.  

Every parent will be required to have that car tag placard to pick up their child starting the first day of school, August 09, 2023.  

Again, we please ask for your patience the first 2 weeks of school.  **We will not dismiss any students after 2:30pm.**

Purple Sage se encuentra al final de la comunidad de Pine Trails.  ¡Nuestra meta es que nuestros estudiantes lleguen a casa seguros! Por favor asegúrense de recoger las etiquetas de despedida de su familia antes del primer día del año escolar.  Si no tienen su etiqueta de despedida, tendrán que estacionar su carro, entrar a la oficina central y obtener una etiqueta con una identificación válida.

La despedida después de escuela es por la seguridad de nuestros estudiantes y para mejor servir a nuestros padres.  Comenzaremos a implementar estos cambios el primer día de escuela, el 09 de agosto.

Los padres entrarán por el estacionamiento grande  del personal docente para recoger a su hijo. Las etiquetas de despedida  de los coches tendrán que estar visibles para que los padres puedan recoger a su hijo. Todos los coches tendrán que permanecer en el carril derecho de Purple Sage Dr. Será imperativo que los padres no bloqueen el carril de la izquierda para permitir el flujo de tráfico de nuestros autobuses y furgonetas de guardería que entrarán por el camino circular ubicado enfrente de la escuela. Los padres entrarán en una sola línea de tráfico a través de la primera entrada del estacionamiento grande del personal docente. Rogamos que los padres no se estacionen y esperen que sus hijos caminen al coche. Esto causa congestión y retrasos que impedirán un proceso de despedida tranquilo y seguro. Los padres permanecerán en la línea de recogida y avanzarán. Su estudiante será acompañado a un área de despedida donde un adulto abrirá la puerta del coche y pondrá al estudiante en el coche. Les rogamos de nuevo, por favor asegúrese de que su etiqueta de despedida esté siempre visible. Los coches saldrán del estacionamiento grande del personal. Comenzaremos la despedida a las 3:15 pm puntualmente.

Comprendemos que habrá un leve retraso de los coches mientras todos los padres están recogiendo a sus hijos. Por favor tenga paciencia durante las primeras 2 semanas ya que todos estamos aprendiendo nuestro proceso de despedida y los estudiantes están aprendiendo el número de su etiqueta de despedida de nuevo. La seguridad de nuestros estudiantes es nuestra máxima prioridad. Estamos trabajando para mantenerlos seguros y acelerar el proceso de despedida para todos ustedes. Después de las primeras dos semanas, nuestra meta es que la despedida termine antes de las 3:30 pm. Después de las 3:30 pm, todos los estudiantes restantes serán trasladados a la oficina principal. Usted tendrá que entrar a la oficina con la etiqueta de despedida o su identificación para recoger a su hijo.  NO podrá venir a la oficina para recoger a su estudiante antes de las 3:30.

Si está planeando que su hijo camine por las tardes, tendrá que enviar una nota al maestro de su hijo para que esté archivada en la oficina. Los estudiantes que caminan no serán despedidos y acompañados hasta después de las 3:05 pm. Si su hijo va a caminar, lo acompañarán a la señal de alto ubicada en la intersección de Purple Sage Drive y Edenglen Dr. Para los estudiantes de Kinder y Prekinder, un adulto DEBE estar presente en la señal de alto para que el maestro libere el estudiante. De lo contrario, el maestro acompañará al estudiante de regreso a la escuela y el estudiante tendrá que ser levantado en la oficina.  Papás, por favor NO se estacionen en Purple Sage Rd. y bloqueen el flujo de tráfico mientras esperan a que su hijo camine a su coche.

Les rogamos que comuniquen cualquier cambio al plan de despedida de su estudiante al maestro y /o a la oficina central antes de las 2:30

Todos los padres tendrán que tener la etiqueta de despedida en su coche para recoger a su hijo a partir del primer día de escuela, el 09 de agosto de 2023.
