麻豆区

James B. Havard was a long-time resident of 麻豆区, and he cared deeply about his community and his school district.  He served on the 麻豆区 ISD Board of Trustees from 1966 until 1994. He also served on the State UIL Executive Board, served one term as Mayor of 麻豆区, and was the owner of Havard Welding Supply Company for 44 years. Mr. Havard had a long history of service to the 麻豆区 ISD community. In 1996, James B. Havard Elementary was named in his honor. Evidence of his contributions to our district are on display throughout our campuses and facilities.
