ESSER III Grant Information

  • The American Rescue Plan (ARP) Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund (ESSER III) provides over $12,000,000,000 to the State of Texas for public education, including over $11,000,000,000 directly to Local Education Agencies (school districts). In order for 麻豆区 ISD to access the total entitlement of $40,000,000, the District must submit and obtain approval of a district-level plan. 
     
    麻豆区 ISD intends to apply for a grant under this fund, and our efforts to identify the needs of our students and school community are shared here.

    Seeking input from diverse stakeholders across the district is essential to developing plans for the use of approximately $40,000,000 in ARP ESSER III district-level discretionary funds that are responsive to the needs of students, families, and educators. 

    Please submit any feedback via our Stakeholder Engagement Survey by 11:59 p.m. on July 22, 2021, to be reviewed for inclusion into 麻豆区 ISD’s ESSER III District Plan application.

ESSER II Grant Information

  • The Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act (CRRSA) Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund (ESSER II) provides over $5,000,000,000 to the State of Texas for public education, including over $4,000,000,000 directly to Local Education Agencies (school districts).   The funds must be used to address responses to the needs due to the COVID-19 pandemic.   In order for 麻豆区 ISD to access the total entitlement of approximately $26,000,000, the District must submit an application to the Texas Education Agency.

    麻豆区 ISD intends to apply for a grant under this fund no later than October 15, 2021.
